A 68 year old Derbyshire man has just set off on an incredible 630 mile journey along the South West Coast Path to support a Derbyshire charity which is close to his heart.
Andy Younger from Melbourne aims to complete the full route in just 8 weeks.
Backed by his partner Jill in their trusty camper, Andy began his epic journey on Thursday 10th April and aims to raise as much money as possible for 'Me & Dee', based in Melbourne, which helps families facing life-changing or terminal illness to create lasting memories.
A meeting with founder Maria Hanson MBE further motivated Andy to support their mission.
His daughter Rachel Younger spoke about the extent of the challenge her Dad was undertaking. She said: "This is a massive personal challenge, and every step he takes along the rugged and beautiful coastline is for a cause that really matters."
