Long Eaton motorcycle rider with no insurance now without their vehicle

Long Eaton Police officers have taken action after stopping a motorcycle being ridden in an anti-social manner on Tamworth Road in the town.

Subsequent checks revealed that the rider did not have valid insurance which led to the motorcycle being seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.

A statement said that officers are aware of issues with nuisance motorcycles in the area, adding that they will take positive action against those riding illegally and in such a manner that cause disruption to the local community.
