Police officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team have conducted a drugs warrant at a property in Sawley.
The action, taken on 11th July under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, was carried out at the site on Netherfield Road in the village.
Upon gaining access, officers found an amount of suspected Class A and B drugs along with cash and various other items associated with drug dealing. A male in his 30s was arrested and taken to custody by officers.
Sgt Buckland from Long Eaton SNT pledged that the team will act on information presented to them. He added: "Here we have executed a warrant based on information provided by the public, and in doing so taken a quantity of controlled substances out of circulation. If you know something which is a risk to our community then help us by calling crime stoppers on 0800 555 111 and we will act on that information and make Long Eaton safer for everyone."
