A man has been charged in connection with a series of robberies at shops in Sandiacre, Long Eaton and, elsewhere, in Spondon, just inside the Derby City boundary.
Wayne Haywood was charged with ten offences including robbery, possession of a bladed article, theft from a shop, attempted robbery and attempted theft from a shop and was remanded into police custody.
The 38-year-old from Nottingham, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 22nd July and was further remanded into prison custody.
