Charity’s vital delivery van stolen in Long Eaton - Cyrilyn Moore from Operation Orphan Erewash Sound
Following the Transport Secretary’s announcement that there will be significant investments in transport, local MP Maggie Throup wants to know where new cycle routes would help Erewash residents cycle for work or pleasure
Maggie commented: “It is now more vital than ever that we encourage more people to get on their bikes. This will help pressure on our public transport without the roads clogging up.
“However, I know that we need more cycle routes and better connectivity for cyclists. That’s why I’m asking Erewash residents to let me know where we need more or better cycle routes.
“I’m sure there are a number of routes which are easy to get up and running in a ‘pop up’ way, but we also need to plan for the future.
“Please do let me know where you think there should be more or improved cycle routes across Erewash. I will then let the Transport Secretary know what Erewash cyclists need as they are best placed to know what will work.
