Parkrun – back each Saturday at 9am

Park Run – a free 5k timed run organised each week by a team of volunteers – is staged at West Park in Long Eaton (meeting by the Rugby Club) and Shipley Country Park (meeting near the visitors centre)

All participants and volunteers are required to self-assess for COVID-19 symptoms prior to attending, and are asked not to attend if at all symptomatic.

Local public health advice is that even those without symptoms should make use of lateral flow device tests where possible, to ensure people aren’t spreading the virus without realising.

Parkrun teams would also benefit from building their volunteer community.  Please check out your local event website and social media requests for help; sign-up to volunteer emails and grasp the opportunity to experience the joy of volunteering.

You just need to register once and then go along to any Parkrun event with your barcode to take part and record your time, visit parkrun.org.uk
