Sandiacre Lock Cottages – openings for 2023

The Sandiacre Lock Cottages are open for visitors on the third Sunday of each month and Bank Holidays until November 2023 from 10:30am to 3:30pm.

There are also special openings on other dates across weekdays and Sundays for organised groups.

Admission to the cottages is free – refreshments are available and dogs are welcome.

Please note that, due to the historic nature of the cottages which were built in 1779, access for disabled people is limited and some parts are inaccessible to wheelchairs or to people unable to climb steep stairs.

Donations towards the cost of opening the cottages are appreciated.
