A 13 year old boy has been hospitalised after being hit by a car in Long Eaton.
The incident took place at around 8:00am on Wednesday 14th May when the teenager was struck by a Ford Ranger in Nelson Street. He sustained injuries described by Derbyshire Police as 'serious'. There is no further information at this time.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident.
