The University of Derby is celebrating a triple success at the 2025 Global Student Living Awards (UK and Ireland), securing three major accolades based on student feedback.
The University was named Best University Housing for the fourth year in a row, retained the title of Best Environmental Management for the third year running, and, for the first time, was awarded Best Value for Money.
The 2025 Global Student Living Awards are based exclusively on direct feedback from more than 150,000 students at universities and colleges across the UK and Europe. With no written nominations and no ‘expert’ judges, the awards are among the most credible and respected in the sector.
Steve Ward, Head of Student Living at the University of Derby, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been successful once again in the Global Student Living Awards. To be recognised by students as having the highest level of satisfaction across all elements of our service provision is an incredible achievement.
“Winning Best University Housing for the fourth year in a row demonstrates the outstanding commitment of our staff to continually provide the best service we can.
“To have secured the prize for Best Environmental Management again, too, is testament to our ongoing commitment to encouraging staff and students to help reduce our environmental impact.”
