Police officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team have taken action after a vehicle was being seen driven erratically on Main Street in the town.
Efforts were made to try and stop the red Peugeot, however the driver made off from officers but after a determined search, it was later found abandoned in a location close by.
The vehicle was subsequently seized under section 165 of the Road Traffic Act as it was being driven without insurance.
