Water bottle refill station at Draycott Playing Fields –

Draycott Millennium Green Trust have installed a Water Bottle Refill Station at the Football Pavilion on Gertrude Road, Draycott, starting to lead the way in Erewash in getting people to use reusable water bottles to reduce waste and litter.

Grants from Erewash Borough Council, The Drinking Fountain Association, the Rotary Club of Church Wilne and Draycott and Church Wilne Parish Council have enabled the purchase of the fountain and signage.  

As well as bringing a free hydration point to this bustling playing field, work is underway with local businesses to ask them to sign up to the refill revolution – this enables people to use an app to find local businesses that will provide free tap water to passers by.
