Rail travellers faced significant disruption at the weekend with CrossCountry left to encourage passengers to check before making journeys, after a power outage affected its control centre. Police respond with statement after increase in anti-social driving incidents in Ilkeston

Police officers in Ilkeston have responded having been made aware of an increase in instances of anti-social driving in the town. A statement said that issues, already known to affect Chalons Way, had become worse, but that surrounding areas were also being affected. Local residents are being encouraged to report anti-social driving seen occurring in the area. Community praised for coming together to clear fallen tree in Risley

Officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have thanked those who took part in a collective effort to clear a major road of a fallen tree.
