The manager of a Derby pub is living in “constant” fear vehicles could crash into the beer garden due to safety concerns over a busy junction. A meeting has been requested due to safety concerns at the Lime Lane and Morley Road junction on the edge of Derby, near Oakwood. Plans for 160 homes have been filed for Green Belt land between a Derby suburb and a nearby village. Derby-based firm Wheeldon Brothers has applied to build 160 homes off Hungerhill Close in Breadsall Hilltop, on grassland between the Derby suburb and neighbouring Breadsall.
