Valentine’s Day is not just a commercial day for couples to declare their love according to volunteers at Shipley Community Garden. Pair charged following reported assault of teenager in Ilkeston

A pair of teenagers have been charged with a number of offences following the alleged assault of a teenager in Ilkeston. The force was called to reports of a teenaged boy being assaulted by two people at a property in Muskham Avenue, Cotmanhay, Ilkeston, at 8.30pm on 13th January. Two arrested after teenager assaulted at house in Cotmanhay

Local Police Officers have been called out following the receipt of reports that two people had entered a house in Muskham Avenue, Cotmanhay, armed with a knife. The incident, at around 8:30pm on 13th January led to a teenaged boy suffering a stab injury. He was taken to hospital but it is understood that he will make a full physical recovery.
