Trinity Methodist Church on Cross Street in Long Eaton is holding a series of sessions to enable people to catch up with friends and meet new ones.
The 'Connect at Crossways' sessions offer the chance to join in for a cuppa and a bacon sandwich, or choose something else from a varied menu.
There is a free tea and coffee and a light lunch on select Thursdays in 2025 from 10:30am to 1:00pm. Those dates are:
- August 7th
- September 11th
- October 9th
Participants can choose items from three sections, a main, including a bacon roll, cold sandwich (ham, tuna or cheese) with salad and crisps, or a special of quiche and salad, fruit or yoghurt and a treat of a cake or toasted teacake. Tea, coffee, squash and water is also on offer.
All are welcome.
