Get ready for a tail-wagging good time! DCG is thrilled to announce its first-ever Dog Show, set to take place on Saturday 26th October 2024 at Derby College Equestrian Centre, Broomfield Hall, Morley, Derbyshire, DE7 6DN.

This unique FREE event promises an afternoon full of fun, competition, and community spirit as we celebrate our canine companions and bring together dog lovers. The event will run from 11am until 3pm.

Dog owners interested in taking part in the show can register on the day of the event up to noon in the following five categories:

Loveliest Lady
Handsomest Boy
Scruffiest Mutt
Best Paw Shake
Golden Oldie (8+)

The cost for entry in the dog classes is £2 an entry or £5 for 3 entries. Entries and payment will be taken on the day, before noon, at the DCG dog grooming stall.

Beyond the show ring, attendees can explore a range of stalls dog stalls, charity stalls and craft and food stalls. DCG’s Dog Grooming team will be offering nail trims and free home grooming advice for owners.

There will also be a dog agility course.
