Are YOU looking for something a little different to do with your spare time?
Officials at Derbyshire Constabulary are encouraging members of the public to visit the force headquarters in Ripley at the end of August.

The police force has many different volunteer roles within Derbyshire covering a range of functions, with uniue roles which give an interesting view into the world of policing.
Volunteers often have full time jobs but feel like they want to give more to their community, or they volunteer to gain more experience and help develop their skills. Whatever the reason, they all do an important job and help support Police officers and and protect our communities.
On Saturday 31st August, a volunteer recruitment event is being held from 10am at Butterley Hall, DE5 3RS.
This event is a great opportunity to ask any questions about the roles available, as well as finding out how volunteering can help you personally.
