'The Old People are Revolting' by Devon Williamson offers some light-hearted fun from a local theatre company at Presley's bar and suite (Kirk Hallam Social Club) on Dallimore Road (DE7 4GZ) on the following dates:

Synopsis: "When the city council decides to end its energy discounts for the elderly, the pen-pushers in the Town Hall have no idea what anarchy they are about to unleash at the Sunshine Retirement Village.
"The residents plan an explosive protest against the system. Before you know it, the story has gone viral on the internet, and the revolution becomes unstoppable.
