The 100th Little Eaton Carnival takes place on Saturday 5th July.
With a parade from 12:30pm to 2:00pm and a 'Party on the Park from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and free entry, there will also be a range of vintage fairground attractions, arena acts, a tea-room and barbecue, plus a craft fair.
The Parade will be led by the Shirland Welfare Brass Brand and followed by the Carnival Queen and her attendants, a vintage open-top bus carrying the former Carnival Queens and King, plus floats from Little Eaton Dance School, Little Eaton Primary School Fundraising Group, The Village Pre-school, Coxbench Hall Residential Home, Little Eatson Scounts and Little Eaton WI plus more besides.
Also joining the parade will be the Barlow Red Barrows - as seen on Britain's Got Talent, and Historia Normannis Derby, as well as a couple of surprises. The High Sheriff of Derbyshire, Sir Richard FitzHerbert will also join the event as a judge.
