The Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton is to play host to a special event marking the anniversary of the staging of Live Aid in 1985.

'Long Eaton does Live Aid' will be staged on Saturday 26th July and will be a full evening from which all profits will be donated to charity.
Five different acts, all based in the Erewash borough, will be playing a wide range of music from soul ballads to classic pop, including a few original songs and a thumping Oasis tribute band to finish the night. The event runs from 7:30pm to around 10:00pm.
Erewash Sound breakfast show host and theatre guru Richard Dawson will be your host.
Tickets will be available soon from The Duchess Theatre website, from the Box Office and during regular Saturday coffee mornings.
