A full day of live music, food, art, and family fun returns to the heart of Ilkeston, lighting up the Market Place on Sunday 24th August 2025 from 12:00noon to 9:30pm.

This free all-day event promises to be the town's biggest and brightest celebration yet, with 'The Eminem Show' as the headline act - the world’s leading tribute to the Rap God himself – who will bring the energy, swagger, and biggest hits of Eminem to life in a high-octane performance backed by a full live band.
Joining the bill are over 20 artists spanning rock, indie, punk, pop, funk, electronic, and global sounds.
Highlights include:
- Archy & the Astronauts – Space-rock trio delivering fierce riffs and celestial hooks
- Connor Adams – BBC-featured singer-songwriter with heartfelt indie rock
- Louie Walsh – Nottingham’s rising pop voice with catchy, honest anthems
- Emporio – Derby’s genre-bending electronic artist with viral DnB hits
- Fufu Sailors – Leicester’s legendary party band with genre-mashing medleys
- Harri Larkin – Sheffield’s funk-punk queen with BBC-backed tracks
- Maariyah Khan – Multitalented Derby artist performing tracks from her self-produced debut album 'Nawab'
There will also be performances from Mantarray, The Crossover, Ember, $KUNK, and more – a showcase of the region’s most exciting emerging talent, and also including, From punk energy (TwinHead, $KUNK) to Latin-fusion (Hola Mi Pato), soul-pop (The Soulmates Family), and everything in between. Glow 2025 offers something for every ear.
The festival will also feature family funfair rides, local food vendors serving global cuisine, live steel pan performances as well as art installations and creative workshops.
"Glow is about spotlighting the best in local and emerging talent while bringing the community together for a day of discovery, dance, and delicious food,” said Pete David Clay the event organiser.
