Shop sign grant scheme expanded again
A boost to Erewash towns which has seen the borough council help to pay for new shop signs in Ilkeston and Long Eaton has proved such a hit it is being extended to other parts of the borough.

Disused rail line to be transformed into a Greenway
Funding of £2.7m has been awarded to Derbyshire County Council by Active Travel England to transform the former Little Eaton branch railway line into a greenway - a traffic free pathway for walking, wheeling, cycling and horse riding.
