Local business owner is an award finalist

A Long Eaton resident has spoken of her delight after her business was selected as an award finalist at The ClubHub Awards 2026.

The performing arts organisation, Little Voices (Nottingham and Loughborough) opened in Autumn 2025 and has been put forwarded as the possible ‘National Start-Up of the Year’ Award recipient, after the business enjoyed rapid growth in the first six months of operations.

Sammi Panesar-Vale is the Principal and said that the news recognised the impact of work supporting children’s confidence, communication and skills for life through performing arts through the provision of drama and singing lessons for those aged 4 to 18, with a growing team reaching 10 children each week including holiday sessions and being rewarded with five star reviews.

Commenting on her achievement, Sammi said: “To be named a finalist so early on in our journey is incredibly special, and testament to all the wonderful children, families and schools we work with, as well as my hard-working team of tutors.

“When I launched Little Voices here in the East Midlands, my aim was to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to grow in confidence through high-quality performing arts tuition, particularly in local villages and towns outside of the city.

“The fact that we’re already working with so many children, families and schools, and seeing that positive impact week by week, makes this recognition even more meaningful.”

The Club Hub Awards celebrate businesses across the UK children’s activities sector that demonstrate excellence, innovation and positive impact on children and families.

Winners will be announced at the Club Hub Event on Saturday 9th May 2026 in Birmingham.
