Police officers in Erewash are appealing for help to identify a group of people wanted for questioning about an an assault in Long Eaton.

A man in his 50s sustained serious injuries after he was attacked by a group of people on bikes, while he was sat in a parked vehicle in Longmoor Road.

Despite following a number of lines of enquiry since the incident happened on 22nd December 2025, officers have not yet been able to identify those involved.

One of the bikes used by one of those involved was of a distinctive orange colour. The hope is that someone knows of another person who has been seen riding or owns a bike matching that description will come forward.
