08/03/2024: A consortium of equine organisations including Derby College Group is rallying the industry to play a leading role in addressing the climate crisis and shaping a better future, with the launch of the first nationwide equine carbon calculator.
07/03/2024: Nothing truly heralds the approach of Spring like the sight of newborn lambs in the pastures, together with the appearance of daffodils, snowdrops, and brighter evenings, so to help celebrate this special time of year, Derby College Group is holding its popular Lambing Sunday event at its Broomfield Hall campus in Morley on the 24th of March, with around 170 lambs expected.
05/03/2024: Derby College Group has welcomed the Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Mrs Elizabeth Fothergill CBE to its Broomfield Hall site to plant a tree to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III.

16/11/2023: Laura Smith, a former student at Derby College Group (DCG) who now works at the College as a member of their teaching staff, is celebrating after being awarded runner up in the national Association of Colleges’ (AoC) Student Green Commitment Award at the Student of the Year Awards.
10/11/2023: Derby College Group outreach work to schools continues to grow and support a greater number of schools, with the Schools Liaison team and the Apprenticeship Recruitment team working with the majority of schools across Derbyshire, which includes Special Schools.
