22/06/2021: The annual 'Bold as Brass' series of FREE brass band concerts in the great outdoors is back for Summer 2021.  Anyone wishing to go along is encouraged to take a picnic, a blanket or chairs, (perhaps an umbrella or parasol!) kick back and enjoy the entertainment at venues across Erewash and featuring an array of popular bands.

11/02/2021: Five community groups in Erewash have received a slice of nearly £7,000 of funding thanks to the council’s latest round of community grant awards.  One of the successful recipients, Erewash Sound, who are based in Vernon Street, Cotmanhay, has received £2,000 and will use the funding to update their servers and the use of a modern operating system.  It will also help fund Erewash Sound’s Training Academy.

08/02/2021: Over 500 halls in England have contributed to the unique record so far, detailing their response to the pandemic and hopes for the future.  In Derbyshire 14 halls have signed and Rural Action Derbyshire is keen to encourage as many halls as possible to participate.
