27/03/2020: An NHS Blood and Transplant spokesperson has said: “We need people in Derbyshire who are fit and healthy to keep donating as normal during the coronavirus outbreak.  We've put extra safety measures in place and safety is always our number one priority.  We’re now doing extra cleaning and this week we’ve started triaging everyone who arrives so only people with no risk factors can enter the donation area.
26/03/2020: Residents are being urged by Derbyshire County Council’s trading standards team to be extra vigilant and keep themselves safe from scammers during the coronavirus outbreak.  Working with Derbyshire Police, trading standards officers are urging people to be wary of possible new coronavirus-related scams being used by doorstep callers and online fraudsters.
