Ben is a late-comer to loving radio. Unless you count listening as a kid on the school-run, his passion started only midway through university after joining its student radio station. Despite this - he's been very active since, being nominated twice for Best Journalistic Programming, and once for Best Podcast Programming at the National Student Radio Awards. Coming from Heanor, Ben is passionate about local news, leading to getting involved with the team at Erewash Sound!
You can hear him briefly but consistently... bringing you some of the local news headlines on the top of the hour throughout the week (with an occasional cheeky sit-in on Paul Stacey's Erewash Sound Breakfast Show!).
