Appeal after man is seen throwing kittens into the Erewash Canal
An appeal has been issued by Erewash Police officers after a male was seen throwing kittens into the Erewash Canal, under the bridge on Derby Road in Long Eaton. The incident was spotted at around 2:00pm on 9th March. Although three kittens were retrieved by a member of the public and another by Police, only one Kitten has survived, and, having been treated by a vet, is expected to make a full recovery.
