Appeal for information launched following two linked robberies in Ilkeston

Derbyshire Police officers are appealing for information following two robberies in Ilkeston that are believed are linked. The first incident happened when the victim was approached by a man as he walked past a block of flats in Chalons Way at about 10:05pm on Sunday 31st May. Police Officers issue advice to buyers and sellers after two local robberies

Derbyshire Constabulary officials have issued safety advice for anyone buying or selling items on Facebook after two reports of robberies, one in the Erewash borough. Reports were received regarding two people being threatened with knives after meeting people they had agreed to sell mobile phones to using the social media network’s Marketplace feature.
