Colder weather means more time indoors for all of us but this also means more time alone for many.  In response, staff at The Elephant Rooms in Draycott are now offering a warm space every Tuesday from 10:00am through til 2:00pm where you can go along and enjoy a hot jacket potato and a cuppa, with an obligatory biscuit or two.

Derbyshire County Council wants to make sure that health care appointments are as easy to access as possible for Derbyshire residents so has set up a three month scheme offering free transport to a variety of routine health appointments including vaccination appointments and some screening programmes, and is open to all ages and is not means tested so you do not need to be receiving benefits to be eligible.
