The next Wildlife Walk of 2026, organised by The Long Eaton Natural History Society will be held on Saturday 9th May around Muston Meadows and Grantham Canal led by Marion Bryce.
To take part, meet at 10:30am in the Woolsthorpe Lane lay-by at Muston Bridge, NG13 0GW, SK 832 368 for an easy morning walk, and the hope of seeing green-winged orchids.
LENS membership costs £25.00 a year for all events, except ‘specials’. All Wildlife Talks only cost £15.00 a year.
Attendance at each meeting is £2.50.
Please wear waterproof footwear and clothing for walks which are often on muddy or uneven ground. If the weather is uncertain, please check that the event is going ahead before heading to the meeting location. Photographs taken at each event may be used on LENS social media.
