Erewash Well-being Taster Sessions: Mondays June-July 2026

You are invited to be part of a series of gentle well-being taster sessions in Erewash.  These free sessions offer a chance to try out different creative activities aimed to support your health and well-being.

Led by local people in your community, working with Arts Derbyshire’s Creative Health Team, in partnership with Erewash GP practices, these sessions are open to ALL Erewash residents.

What to expect: A warm welcome, A brew, A friendly weekly group session, A safe supportive space to try new things and meet and make connections with people in your community.

Each session is run by Arts Derbyshire’s Creative in Place for Erewash representative, Beth, who will be joined by different guest facilitators from the local community.

Book on to all or just a couple. These sessions give you a chance to meet and connect with some of the lovely humans running wonderful wellbeing things in your area…

  Join Beth for gentle creative wellbeing activities and chats over a brew. A chance to meet and greet, be inspired, and find out more.
• Creative Gardening with Susan – Monday 6th July 11am – 1pm | Erewash Museum & Gardens
  Join Susan to explore how plants, nature and garden design can bring wellbeing to the places you live both outdoors and indoors.
• Junk Journaling with Our Crafty Place – Monday 13th July 11am – 1pm | Our Crafty Place
  Join Viv and the Our Crafty Place team to experience the health benefits of crafting whilst making your own wellbeing junk journal.
• Uplifting Music with Gemma – Monday 20th July 11am – 1pm | Ilkon Gallery
  Join Gemma Ilkon’s Resident Artist, for an uplifting music session at Ilkon Gallery. A safe space to connect and listen to music. Headphones provided
• Wellbeing Walk with Susie – Monday 27th July 11am – 1pm | Our Crafty Place
  Join Susie from Walks 4 Wellbeing to connect with nature on a gentle creative stroll returning to Our Crafty Place for a brew.
