New bridge is a big deal

Work has started to build a bridge over the Erewash Canal in Long Eaton which will be a vital link for residents of the town. A group of walkers in Erewash is seeing 2026 in with a change to its membership after a long standing member decided to step down. Tony Beardsley was an original member of the Erewash Ramblers Committee, starting out as Programme Secretary and then becoming Chairman.
