Police officers in Erewash have taken to social media to report having seen a rise in theft-related crime in the Long Eaton rural area, specifically including Borrowash, Breaston and Draycott. Police officers in Erewash are appealing for information following a burglary at a supermarket in Borrowash. The incident happened when two men broke into the Victoria Avenue Co-op store at about 2:30am on Friday 27th February. Once inside they stole a significant amount of cash before fleeing the scene. CCTV stills have been released showing a man wanted for questioning n relation to the theft of a car in Borrowash. The incident happened between 2:00pm on Sunday 25th January and 6:45am on Monday 26th January when two men stole a grey Range Rover from outside the Methodist Church in Church Row.
