Kirk Hallam hosts a ‘South East Derbyshire Music Centre’ Strings Day (6th June)

Kirk Hallam Community Academy is playing host to a South East Derbyshire Music Centre ‘Strings Day’ on Saturday 6th June with different timings for different levels, so if you’re looking to take your playing to the next level, build confidence and have a lot of fun making music with others, this is the event for YOU!

Whether you play the violin, viola, cello, double bass, or harp, this special day is designed to give you the experience of playing in a large ensemble alongside other passionate young musicians from across the local area.

Led by experienced SEDMC staff and visiting professionals, there are two tailored sessions to fit your level:

Beginner to Grade 3 – 9:00am – 10:30am
Perfect for players developing their confidence or new to large ensembles!

Grade 4+ – 11:00am – 12:30pm
For more confident players looking for a greater musical challenge and advanced repertoire!
