SUMMER KIDZ: Live Friday Family Entertainment at Erewash Museum – July to August

Look forward to a summer packed with creativity, outdoor fun and hands‑on activities at Erewash Museum.

Looking for live entertainment? The Museum is bringing good vibes to the garden every Friday from 31st July to 28th August.

You’ll find an interactive comedy magic show with live music, a four-piece String Quartet playing Disney and pop tunes, Super Sparkle’s “Little red riding rocks” theatre show and live band ‘Pigeon Pie’ bringing fun, family friendly music.

Dance moves for a Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) – a traditional Scottish and Irish gathering – will also be shared.

• 7th August: String Quartet – ‘Highly Strung’
• 14th August: Barn Dance with ‘Fairly Famous’
• 21st August: Children’s Theatre with ‘Super Sparkle’
• 28th August: Live Music from ‘Pigeon Pie’

You don’t need to book your place – just go along and enjoy your time at Erewash Museum.

It’s a wonderful hub for community with entertainment for all ages, and I look forward to seeing the museum and its gardens filled with people enjoying summer together again.”

Erewash Museum is located near Ilkeston Market Place and welcomes 20,000 people a year. For the school holidays, it is open from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays – and is free to visit. Refreshments are available at Dalby House Café and the new beach hut in the museum’s gardens.
