Erewash Voluntary Action has commissioned a partner to create a new volunteer platform.
The Granville Avenue, Long Eaton-based organisation has recruited MKS Creative to build the new system to help recruit volunteers and to support people to find out about volunteering opportunities in Erewash.
In an indication of a response to the busy life faced by members of the public, the system, called VOLIFE, has been designed to be more accessible and includes a mobile app that can be downloaded to a smart device. It also allows organisations to upload their own opportunities but EVA team members have pledged to be available to assist.
The new system has been detailed on a bespoke page linked to the EVA website.
If you would like a demonstration on how Volife works and find out more about its potential, please contact Lee Tivey lee @ erewashcvs.org.uk or Julie Marshall. julie @ erewashcvs.org.uk.
VOLIFE is more appealing to many people who want to volunteer because the app will help to identify more opportunities for people here in Erewash.
