Fibro Active 'Fibro Therapy' sessions: 12wks: Thursdays: 21st Sept-14th Dec

Fibro Active, based in Long Eaton, has 15 places available for the next 12 week Fibro Therapy Course.

The group offers support to sufferers of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and long covid, plus carers.

The course runs from Thursday 21st September to Thursday December 14th inclusive, but excluding 2nd November, from 11:15am to 1:30pm at Petersham Community Hall, Long Eaton. Nottingham. NG10 4DZ

This is an intensive 12-week course. You will start each week with a gentle breathing, warm up and stretches in a Fibro Flexi programme followed by a one hour workshop with an accompanied manual. 

The workshop will cover overlapping conditions in the syndrome, symptoms and a more in depth look at the 5 main overlapping symptoms and how to manage them.  This includes nutrition and lifestyle, mental health and emotional support, and signposting. 

To take part, you must be available for at least 10 of the 12 dates and live close enough to the venue to be able to comfortably travel, (Petersham Hall is on the Briargate trentbarton bus route) and you must actively fill in electronic feedback forms that are mobile friendly.
