Motorists warned to check documents after vehicle is seized in Long Eaton

Derbyshire Police officials have issued a warning to motorists to ensure that they are legally entitled to drive and that their documents are up to date.

The statement comes after officers seized a vehicle in Long Eaton on Sunday 14th June 2026 after it was found to be being driven without a valid UK driving licence.

After the Audi was taken off the road, the statement said: “Driving without the correct documents is a serious offence and will result in vehicles being seized, fines, penalty points and potential court action. Together we can help keep our roads safe.”
