Erewash Borough Council is set to make its car parks free to use on Saturdays – in more good news for residents as it freezes council tax. Police officers in Erewash are appealing for help to identify a group of people wanted for questioning about an an assault in Long Eaton. A man in his 50s sustained serious injuries after he was attacked by a group of people on bikes, while he was sat in a parked vehicle in Longmoor Road.
