07/03/2024: Erewash Voluntary Action is organising a Connecting Erewash Week from 22nd – 28th April 2024 as part of the Connect Erewash initiative to combat loneliness and isolation in the borough.
07/03/2024: New research from Midlands Connect suggests Derby and Derbyshire remain on track for an EV boom and could see just under 66,000 electric cars on its streets by the end of the decade, with a significant increase in public EV charge points needed to keep up with demand. The new projections were announced at the recent Midlands Connect EV Conference.

06/03/2024: Draycott writer, Alan Dawson, has created a free drama workshop to which he hopes he can encourage local men to attend. The workshop is focused upon a short play he is developing, Midlife: Guilty as Charged, which explores aspects of men’s mental health/ wellbeing - the writer stresses that no experience in the performing arts is necessary.  Workshops #1 and #2 are men only activities whilst a workshop / performance #3 is mixed.
