Police officers in Erewash have taken to social media to report having seen a rise in theft-related crime in the Long Eaton rural area, specifically including Borrowash, Breaston and Draycott. Police officers in Erewash are appealing for information following a burglary at a supermarket in Borrowash. The incident happened when two men broke into the Victoria Avenue Co-op store at about 2:30am on Friday 27th February. Once inside they stole a significant amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
