A teenager who was seriously assaulted during an altercation on Ilkeston Market Place has died.

The oldest man in Britain, Donald Rose got to meet the country’s youngest mayor – as the 110-year-old was awarded the Freedom of the Borough of Erewash for his bravery in World War Two.
