Appeal to identify man selling items door-to-door

Derbyshire Police are appealing for information to try and identify the man pictured after reports of a man selling items door-to-door in Ilkeston as well as Derby.

Two separate incidents of door-to-door selling have been reported – both targeting elderly individuals – and in one instance where a man entered the home of a man in his 90s in Hazel Drive, Spondon, on 1st February at around 12.45pm.

The incident in Ilkeston took place on Friday 23rd January at approximately 12.30pm in Lord Haddon Road.

The victims involved in the incidents have been safeguarded.

The man pictured was in the area at both times the offences took place and officers are keen to hear from anyone who knows his identity.
