Mayor’s 3-wheel tour is boost no.2 for Scouts

A mad-cap three-wheel charity stunt by Erewash’s Mayor has given a second boost to the thriving local Scouts movement – hot on the heels of a council grant making a “massive difference” for hundreds of the organisation’s big-hearted and adventurous youngsters. A man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery in Ilkeston. Derbyshire Police officers were called to reports of a man having threatened staff at the One Stop shop in Charlotte Street at around 6:45pm on 1st May before taking a till and running from the store.
