A man has been charged with several offences after a car collided with the bowling alley on Derby Road in Ilkeston on Friday 12th June. 21-year old Callum Thompson, who comes from the town, was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, criminal damage - recklessly endangering life, failing to provide specimen for analysis and assault. He was due to appear before Derby Magistrates on Monday 15th June.

Investigators believe the fire most likely started when a naked flame came into contact with combustible materials.
