A man has been charged following an assault in Ilkeston town centre. Derbyshire Police officers were called to reports that a man had been stabbed in South Street at about 6:30pm on Friday 10th July. The victim, a 41-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment. Detectives investigating the stabbing of a man at a house in Ilkeston have issued an appeal for footage recorded around the time it happened. A 35-year-old man was assaulted inside a property in Drummond Road, at about 6:40pm on Saturday 20th June.
