Public reports lead to response over sales of illegal products

Police officers from Long Eaton have partnered with Trading Standards officials to carry out a visit to a shop in the town. The operation on Friday 19th September came after numerous reports were received from members of the public that the shop had been selling illegal products. During the visit, officers located numerous packs of illegal cigarettes and tobacco, all of which were seized as part of an investigation. Trams for Derby campaigners ‘left in dark’

Campaigners looking to bring a tram network across Derby claim they have been “left in the dark” over their proposals. The Light Rail Transit Association (LRTA) launched its vision to deliver a tram system for the city in April this year.
