14/07/2020: Maggie Throup, Member of Parliament for Erewash has been visiting a wide range of schools in her constituency over recent weeks to see how they had adapted their schools and been pillars of support for our local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
07/07/2020: Long Eaton library is the first of borough sites to reopen as part of a phased process by Derbyshire County Council.  The process was set to begin from w/c 6th July with temporary changes to help keep customers and staff safe.

23/04/2020: LATEST: 11:35 Thursday: The fire investigation into a large fire at Springfield Mill, Bridge Street, Sandiacre is now complete with the most probable cause of the fire (which is now out) being recorded as accidental.
22/04/2020: Erewash Borough Council is working with emergency services and support agencies to provide on-going help to those involved in the devastating fire at Springfield Mill in Sandiacre on Tuesday (21st).
